A. COMMERCE STREAM
Students Will Appear For 4 Exams In A Year.

FIRST TERM

  • FIRST UNIT TEST  (TENTATIVELY IN AUGUST )
    *For All Subjects: 25 Marks exam
    (Physical Education – 25 Marks Theory + 25 Marks Practical)
  • FIRST SEMESTER EXAM  (TENTATIVELY IN OCTOBER )
    *For All Subjects: 50 Marks Theory Exam

SECOND TERM

  • SECOND UNIT TEST  (TENTATIVELY IN JANUARY)
    Same as First Unit Test
  • ANNUAL EXAM  (TENTATIVELY IN MARCH/ APRIL)
    *For All Subjects : 80 marks Theory exam +20 marks(Orals / Practical /Projects)
  • ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION (In both the terms):
    30 Marks Project+20 Marks Assignment
B. SCIENCE STREAM
FIRST TERM

  • FIRST UNIT TEST
    *For All Subjects: 25 marks Theory exam
    (Physical Education – 25 Marks Theory + 25 Marks Practical)
  • FIRST SEMESTER  EXAM 
    *For All Subjects: 50 Marks Theory Exam

SECOND TERM

  • SECOND UNIT TEST
    Same as First Unit Test.
  • ANNUAL EXAM 

    Theory Exam.

    **70 marks (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
    **80 marks (English, Second Language, Mathematics)

    Practicals / Oral  Exam.

    30 marks (Practicals + Projects in Physics, Chemistry & Biology respectively)
    20 marks (Practicals in Mathematics)
    20 marks (Orals Exam in English & Second Language)

    **In the Second Terminal Exam 20 % Questions in the Theory of the All Subjectswill be based on the First term Portion.
Bifocal: Electronics / Computer Science
FIRST TERM

  • FIRST UNIT TEST
    *For Electronics Paper I &II / Computer Science Paper I & II: 50 marksTheory exam
    (Physical Education – 25 Marks Theory+ 25 Marks Practical)
  • FIRST SEMESTER  EXAM 
    *For Electronics Paper I &II / Computer Science Paper I &II : 100 Marks Theory Exam and
    100 Marks Practical Exam.

SECOND TERM


  • SECOND UNIT TEST
    Same as First Unit Test.
  • ANNUAL EXAM 
    Same as First Semester Exam.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION (In both the terms): 30 Marks Project + 20 Marks Assignment

Standard of Passing:A final result of the students for each subject will be decided on the average marks of all the examinations. A candidate must secure minimum 35 marks out of 100 in each of the two languages & in each of four subjects. The grace marks are given to the student as per Board rule if required. The students participating in Sports for the college at State / National / International Level will also be given grace marks as per the Board’s rule.  
In Environmental Educationminimum 35% marks should be scored for Project / Assignment.
In Physical Educationminimum of ‘D’ Grade.

Standard of Passing may change as per Board’s Directive.

ADDITIONAL EXAMINATION:
There will be one re-examination each for 1st and 2nd Terminal on Medical Grounds as per Board’s Rule.
1st and 2nd Unit Test will not have any re-exams.

College Terms

First Term: 15th June 2015 To 7th November 2016

Second Term: 27th November 2015 To 1st May 2016

(Winter Break from 26th December 2015 To 1st January 2016 both days inclusive)
